My name is Megan. I'm a 30 year old bartender and live on a ranch in rural Oklahoma with my husband and our many animals. We are both fans of renaissance festivals and are likely to be found at the Muskogee Castle during their faire season. In my free time I like to read fantasy novels, go for hikes, line dance, and ride horses. My friends call me the "Mother of Strays" due to my habit of taking in animals in need. We currently have 5 dogs, 3 cats, 3 snakes, 5 lizards, 4 ducks, a hedgehog, and a herd of cattle. Bones and taxidermy have always fascinated me, and I would often bring home little bits of nature that I would find on my walks. As expected, Halloween is my favorite holiday as well and my home décor reflects that. Between my "dead things" collection and love for jewelry, my husband encouraged me to create my business, Magpie Ossuary, as a way to share the jewelry I make.
