Hmmm…well I have four children, I was raised in the suburbs of Orlando and have lived here all my life, except for five years in smalltown, Ohio. So I did my time. I got into vintage unexpectedly in 2016 while helping clean someone’s house. I found so many things that brought me back to my childhood at my grandmothers’ homes. They had old cast iron Amish people with tiny desks and benches, that Little People bus with the wooden children and teachers? The pull string and the eyes that go back and forth along with the driver? It must have been my mom’s. I spent hours playing with her corn husk dolls, always organizing them by most beautiful. Having these items brings a smile to my face. I’m also fascinated in world history, mainly early to mid-1900’s and US history. I love living in Florida, and though life has thrown major curveballs rapid in succession - I think that’s the only way they come - I continue to do my best to stay on course and remain true to who I've always been. Also, right now I’m mad at Etsy but if things go well hopefully we will make up and be besties again.
