1. Have keywords people might type in to find your prodict in your shop announcement.
2. Have two or three short sentences about each board again with key search words specific to that board. (no hashtags)
3. Pin tall pictures that will stand out among a sea of square pictures.
4. Asking a question in your title is helpful sometimes.
5. Pin your content and what your target market is interested in, not just your own content.
Just basic, but maybe it helps someone.

It might just be an opinion, but I think you'd get more followers if your boards and pins weren't YOUR items. I want to follow people with a variety. Also, I want to follow people that pin every day.

What I like to do is cross promote my social media platforms. In other words, I will invite my Instagram or Facebook followers to visit my Pinterest page.

I have themed boards (baby items, wedding, back to school), boards for gift under $20 or $50, group boards, I am in many group boards, I mix up my items in other boards, I have a board just for my shop.

Cross Promoting is huge I like that recommendation above! I like that Idea and I use my pin links on Google+ and Twitter already. also MORE important.... Pinning alone, while it decinitely helps to get you clicks from searches... does not give it the huge value that going to etsy and viewing the listing from the pin will for trending! It is the "action" of your link being opened that gets you trended on google and etsy. This means when someone searches for red cup ..you will be on the first page as you are searches and viewed MORE. This is huge.. and it has greatly increased my busness without paying for adsSo to bekind, I always view the store page of the other stores link be it twitter FB , Pinterest Mix, Gab. Tumblr... all of them. I started this last spring!
PLEASE ~ a game that promotes the store page viewed from the Pin would be huge because we have so many team players. I would be happy to moderate this game if you need me too! Thank you! So awesome this team is! Thank you!

1. Spend time to build up followers (other than Etsy stores) and repin from them using the "Following" tab or from your notifications

2. Create boards that are among the top searched items on Pinterest (Home Decor, Jewelry, etc.)

3. Pin from a variety of  relevant sites.

4. Join a Tailwind tribe that is ACTIVE

5.  Stay away from Group Boards that are just an "everything" board where people drop pins with no relevancy.
