★ The United States of America Quarter Dollar ★
☛ History in Our Hands and Now Available Here on a Pendant ☚
☛ A quarter dollar, commonly shortened to quarter, is a coin worth ¼ of a United States dollar or 25 cents. The quarter has been produced since 1796.
☛ In 1999, the 50 State Quarters program of circulating commemorative quarters began; these have a modified Washington obverse and a different reverse for each state, ending the former Washington quarter's production completely. On January 23, 2007, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 392 extending the state quarter program one year to 2009.
☛ These pendants do not hold an actual US quarter dollar that can tend to oxidize but Altered & Enhanced Artwork of US Quarter Design showing the dark shading for produce the artistic design. Sure it is great to carry a little special history about the 50 states on the actual US quarter dollars, yet, a pendant can share a lovely lady's home state as a daily wear pendant.
Enjoy this newly released pendant edition. More to come soon, and all 50 states can be ordered now.

At one time "two bits", that is, two wedges, each wedge an eighth, thus a quarter of the Spanish real, was a common nickname for a quarter.
