Hello and Welcome! I created this team because I wanted to have a place to consolidate information. This team will not be focusing on basic SEO, there are already a lot of teams for that. We will assume you already have your basic SEO and relevancy down, and will instead be discussing the most recent changes occurring on Etsy, and how to MAINTAIN that relevancy we have all worked so hard for.

I shut it down, spent time over the next year rebranding and remodeling my business, and I just recently reopened my shop with pieces that are much more true to my style. I'm most inspired by nature and books. I'm excited to connect and get a lot out of this group!

Something else that I discovered, which as a newbie I have found very helpful and which you and others here might like to try:

I joined EstyRank team and registered with EstyRank which has some great tools:

Spell Check checks spelling in all your Etsy listings. I thought my spelling was good, but it found a few errors in my tags that I didn't know about.

Keyword Tool is excellent e.g. enter 'fused glass' & it suggests alternative phrases for tags, provides synonyms. However, there's much more to it than that. Scroll down the Keyword Tool page to find Statistics, Price Range, Related Tags, Top Listings. This is powerful stuff.

EstyRank has other tools such as Rank Checker & Monitor, which I have yet to explore. So, there's probably much more still that I don't know about yet, but from what I have explored so far EstyRank seems to be an ESSENTIAL tool for anyone who has an Esty shop!

We are Chef Spoons, and we sell Custom Spoons with Artwork embedded in a pocket in the handle with epoxy resin. We currently only have only listing (Spoon(s) with Custom Artwork), but will eventually have several (such as Custom Pet Spoon, Custom Photo Spoon, Logo Spoon, etc.). Hi- I'm celebrating 10 years as an etsy seller and yet....I'm still not sure how to use my tags to be seen in my highly competitive category of handmade silver jewelry. Most of my best work seems to be ignored and I end up only selling things that I can make in my sleep (boring).

One thing I've noticed is strange//For some reason, when I remove these pos items my more elaborate work gets more notice....but still not enough sales.

I'm sure my work is original and high quality (I've been working in this field for over 30 years now) so I just have to figure out how to get it seen!
I'm making a concerted effort to spend more attention on my shop than making more pieces....because frankly, I'm awash in inventory.
Hopeful that I can crack the code....
