I typed in the name of one of my necklaces in the search the other day (I wasn't signed in on the browser I was using). I didn't even find it! I came up with a bunch of other things, and I had typed in the specific name! What can I do to make my names better?

Re: Wanting to be seen

I need your honest opinion, give me tough love :). I am on Etsy for about 5 months and sold only 1 item. I am using promoted listings and yet I have 0 impressions for most listings.
Is my shop that bad and I don`t see it?

. . . ADVERTISING . . . when is the best time? . . .

(1) Not when sales are slow (this doesn't make sense because most folks think that when things are slow one should advertise for more sales; right? No.)

(2) About 2 to 4 weeks just before when sales are at their highest. Seasonal business . . . Sales are highest from mid-October to mid-December. So start advertising about mid-September through about mid to late November.

On an annual basis (2) will provide more total sales.

Re: Wanting to be seen

HI I have had an ETSY account for quite a while. I let it go dormant for many years. Now I am really trying hard to market and be seen again. Maybe I am doing the some right things but I don't seem to be able to find my art work that easily. I have been changing my tags to match title. I am getting frustrated not sure I am doing this correctly. I am big time frustrated. Please give me some useful feedback.

DebEverettArt . . . shop shows gray stars for reviews . . . this means shop has had no review in last year . . . this does affect Etsy's algorithym relevancy for current listings . . .

Re: Wanting to be seen

Hi everyone! Happy to find this group and have the opportunity to learn from/exchange information with other Etsy merchants :) My store has hit somewhat of a plateau; even applying the tips and techniques I've found on Etsy and elsewhere doesn't seem to improve shop visibility or customer interest. Any suggestions as to how to improve this? Any ideas or insight would be much appreciated; thanks!!
