BUG: Search Terms missing from Stats

There is a bug (hopefully it is a bug!) today in the stats where you can no longer see the search terms buyers used to find individual items. I am monitoring the forums to see when Etsy will respond to this issue.

You can still see your search terms in google analytics, which is good because that means Etsy is still recording them. If you need to check a term today, I would advise reading the guide I wrote (bit.ly/207iRXP) and looking through your terms via the custom report I provided.

Thanks for the heads up Katy.
I must be looking in the wrong place. Do you mean the keywords? Because I have keywords in my stats today (I just peeked).

Thanks in advance!

Re: BUG: Search Terms missing from Stats

The keywords show up on the main page of your stats, but if you go into an individual item page, the search terms are missing.

This means you cannot see keywords as they relate to items, so you have no idea what search terms/ keywords buyers used to find a particular item.

This is very bad news for SEO, especially if Etsy is planning to make this change permanent. So far there has been no response from Etsy other than that they would "check into it."

I checked the bugs again and still no confirmation either way.

Re: BUG: Search Terms missing from Stats

Hi everyone, yes I noticed this several days ago, I think possibly on Monday. I have contacted Etsy support twice this week about it but no remedy so far. I wondered if it was my laptop at fault as one agent suggested, but the same problem exists on the phone app (its a new phone too so shouldn't be any problem there).

Let's hope they sort it out soon as it does really make a difference, in my experience, when you go through the terms and keep on top of the relevant ones.

Cheers everyone, Paul
