ALL different types of traders are welcome! HOW TO TRADE: It's really pretty simple. If you are wanting to trade with another shop, first, check out the other shop & see what you like in the shop. Send a convo to the shop owner asking them if they would like to trade & tell them the items you like. Once you & that shop owner have come to an agreement on what you are trading (for around the same prices total), you then place those items in your cart, & carry it out like a normal transaction, but instead of choosing credit/debit card, PayPal, etc. as a payment method, you just choose "other". That way, no money is involved at all! ** PRICES MAY NOT BE LOWERED ON ITEMS FOR A TRADE!! ** This is against Etsy policies & you will be kicked off the team.
Who can join?
- First of all you MUST have an Etsy shop! - You MUST have at least EIGHT (8) listings AND your "Shop Policies" section must be filled out to be considered an active shop. - You must be willing to trade at least FIVE (5) listings in your shop. - You MUST respond to every trade request (whether it's to accept or decline the trade). - The most important part is being able to trust other Etsy shop owners while carrying out a trade transaction! ** PRICES MAY NOT BE LOWERED ON ITEMS FOR A TRADE!! ** This is against Etsy policies & you will be kicked off the team.

Description A team of professional photographers, boutique models and etsy shop owners who are looking to trade services. About this team We're a team of boutique models, photographers, parents of young boutique models, and etsy shop owners who wish to trade their services. If you have items needing photo'ed this is the group for you too! Etsy Shop Owners in need of product modeling and photographs of their products for their etsy shops can list what they are looking for here. If any photographers or boutique models are interested in the casting call, they can respond with their photos, and contact information. If a resolution is made, and both parties wish to work together, we ask the shop owner to please send the products they want modeled and photographed in a timely manner. Once the items have been received, the model/photographer has within 48 hours to create and photograph the shoot with the model and the products needed to be photographed, and they should return the etsy shop owner AT LEAST 5 professional shots of each product modeled and photographed in .jpg form to the etsy shop owner no more than 5 days from receipt of product, unless already approved and discussed with the etsy shop owner to allow more time. We ask that all photographs be top quality shots of the products that etsy shop owners want photographed. We do not want the model to overshadow the product and we're looking for professional work. No quick unedited snapshots or mobile phone pics are allowed. In return, the model/photographer will keep the products sent to them to be modeled as compensation unless another method of payment was discussed and agreed upon by both model and shop owner. If someone who is involved in a trade does not comply with the terms and/or backs out of their end of the deal, they will automatically be removed immediately from this group and will not be allowed to feature and promote within this group. Trading is a fun way to connect and support other shop owners here on Etsy. It's also a great way to boost sales and bring in traffic to your shop. Everyone enjoys a little self-indulgence but trading is also a great way to get supplies and gifts for family and friends. Trading Rules and Etiquette Techniques : 1) Be polite. This team is 100% bully FREE. NO bullies are allowed, NO rudeness, NO mean spirited people, etc. Treat others with kindness and respect. Remember, treat others as how you would want to be treated! If you are interested in making a trade with a shop and you aren't sure if they are trade friendly, just send them a convo. The worst they can say is no. 2) You MUST respond to ALL trade convos in a timely manner! This doesn't mean that you HAVE to trade with them. It is considered rude in the trading community to ignore the message. Politely decline if you're not interested. Failure to do so will result in removal from the team. 3) NEVER drop the price of your items to $0.20 to do a trade. This is fee avoidance and an Etsy "no-no". 4) Checking out a trade is easy. Just make "other" an acceptable payment method in your shop and purchase the items your trading for with the "other" method. 5) When trading, items DO NOT have to be of equal value! Just as long as both shops are trading for something that they really love and want, that's all that matters. 6) You do not have to make everything in your shop available for trade. Let the traders know which items are not available for trade. Some people trade extra supplies or items that are not listed in their shops. Etsy's OFFICIAL trading guidelines : http://www.etsy.com/help/article/295 If you have any problems with a trade or with a member of this team or have any questions, please always feel free contact the Captain of the team or one of the team leaders. **All trades must be treated just like sales.
