What am I doing wrong?

I have had a few sales but things are not going as I had hoped. What am I doing wrong?! Is is prices, photos, descriptions? I am not sure what to do differently. I am open to constructive criticism!

Hey Erica,
I would suggest that you go to SaSSy Critique team and read a few of their cirtiques of thoer shops, then when you work on some of the things they suggest and read some of the blogs ask for a Critique of your own. It would really help you learn more about how to title, descriptions, photo's tags, etc. Good luck.
Your cups are cute, you may want to crop in a square so the entire cup shows in the photo. Etsy cuts the thumbnails down so it cuts off part of your cup.

I think it's timing. I don't think there's anything wrong with your shop!! It's wonderful! Everything looks great! But I think if you give it a few more months, the fall items like acorns and candy corn will be searched more. Also I think the mugs and cups are a great gift item, so I bet Christmas will be a good time for those. Maybe think about listing them in sets as it gets closer to the holidays, I know I'm always looking for things to buy my aunts that are all the same but each a little different. Just a thought. But really I think it's just timing and being patient. I don't think you are doing anything wrong! Stick with it and good luck!!!!!

I think you have really cute things and they're unique; I've seen those cups around, but not on Etsy. Make more! Make more with various themes--different hobbies, sports, and occupations. They're a perfect gift for those people on our lists who have everything.

One thing you may want to consider--I know some people are concerned about drinking out of plastic cups. You may want to include what kind of plastic the cups are made of (I can't remember the different types right now, but you can find out on line somewhere).

And I LOVE the felted acorns. They'll do great in fall.

I would list at least one thing a day. After you list it, go promote it on the promotional teams.

I ask myself that hour-after-hour and I am frustrated. No or slow sales and I am buried in cyberspace. My debts pile up and I don't have a clue of why I don't sell. Marilyn My work is totally pure, handmade and I love what I do. I just don't know what to do anymore.
