Paypal Invoice or Etsy Invoice?

Which do you all include a copy of with purchases when you ship? Paypal packing slip invoice or Etsy invoice? I have been putting both, but on smaller items where weight is really a big deal, I don't want to have the extra cost of another piece of paper in the package.

Which do you think customers prefer? Or which is more appropriate?

Etsy! Maybe think like this.. if I buy something from the supermarket I want a receipt not a copy of my bank statement, if that makes sense?

I don't include a paper copy of the invoice, it seems sort of redundant since I know they get several email copies.

What I do include is a business card, and a small post card sized thank you card with a small note giving them a coupon code for future purchases, and then I add a short handwritten note on the back.

This way I know they know who the package is from, as well as getting a reminder of my web address and incentive to shop again.

I do send an invoice so the item is listed and I write a big "thank you" on the bottom. I also include in my packages a freebie and my business card.

I do include a little handmade tag with my shop site and email on it. I was making these myself and they looked bad and just took too much effort. So I actually just ordered some fabulous thank you tags from a fellow newbie (apaperaffaire) and she stamped the cutest owls on them for me. So I will put my sticker with my shop site and email on the back of that with a short note. I need to do coupon codes though. Everything I've ordered recently has one on their card!

I don't bother with either one. If they want an invoice, they can log on and print it themselves. It seems a little redundant. I do, however, have a thank you card that matches my banner and I include a handwritten thank you with each order, along with my business card.
