Hi Lisa...your stuff is not boring at all! It's lovely!! I love the "black beauty" :) That being said, I would definitely try making your item descriptions much more descriptive-that is how they get found in Etsy searches (as well as your tags). So someone that may be looking for a black scarf would not easily find your "black beauty item since neither of those words are in the item name. I would play around with that and be as descriptive as possible, I'm always changing mine. Also, try searching for one of your items as if you're a customer and see where you land in the results.
also, just be patient! You will get a sale...it took me about 2 months to get my first "stranger" sale. keep renewing items everyday. Make a facebook page if you don't have one, participate in blogs, etc. It's all time consuming, but it's necessary if you want the exposure!
