Hi Char - do you have email addresses from past customers? A great way to promote your your site/store/blog is to create an email marketing campaign to reach out to them.
Since they've already bought from you once, you know they like you and are a great audience to tap as you try to build your social media presence.
You would want to start by emailing them personally and asking them to join your mailing list. Once they say yes to that, you've got permission to send them more info like sales and promotions, invitations to like you on facebook, etc.
It takes time, but you can encourage people to share your emails and facebook page with their social network. This will help you build traffic on your site and ultimately build your business!
