I was wondering if anyone new how this metal has been treated, I THINK it might be spray painted but I'm not sure if that is what you would use for jewellery..
Just guessing, but paint seems right, especially since some of it has been scraped/scratched off the high points. I can't tell the scale of the piece. It could be etched, or cast, or textured in a rolling mill.
I recently got some metal paint from Vintage. It's called "Patina" but is really just metal paint and looks similar the the picture. Don't know if it builds up like that one, though. Haven't used it much so far.
