Terri, they called for 1-2 inches changing to rain- Ha, we got 7-9 and it was too cold to change to rain. Dh's daughter works for the Dept of Public Health in NYC- lives in Brooklyn- took her 6 hours to get home and it's normally a 15 min train ride. NYC was a total disaster! Some people I heard were stuck in the city over night in train stations- nothing was moving

Yes Erin- Vigor heat shield is a God send, I've been using it for years and zero complaints!

I was attaching a bail with the chain attached directly to the bail. I wanted to make sure I didn't melt the chain in the process. Worked like a charm - I nearly forgot I had the stuff.

I usually use a copper penny on chain- just lay it on there- mostly I use a big gob of the heat shield on gemstones when I re-size. I've even used it with opals - stuff works awesome

. Also, forecast calls for a dry Thanksgiving. So relieved. Since I'm making the dressing, I'd have to go, regardless of the weather. Was! Worried about a! 100 mile drive in the rain or snow.

Pennee - your idea of a penny is a good trick. Do you use an old penny or does it matter? I think I have some of the vigor but never used it. I just read it and it says it rinses off with water. Does it smell or anything when it's heated?

I just finished my last pending order. So glad. Now I can make some simple things I've been wanting to make for holiday sales.

Terri, it didn't have any smell when I used it, and it got under direct flame a couple of times.

The sun was out today. Made such a difference! These past weeks have been so grey and dreary.

J had a conference in Lisbon all of last week and I’m so glad he’s back. The single parent thing was getting to me.

Tryng to adjust my grocery list for keeping at-weight for wrestling is hard, y'all. O.o He hates veggies (he will eat salad), but he will eat protein things. I have to avoid anything with peanuts or peanut butter, though.

Had my shop on vacation last week. Now I'm invisible. That's ok. I'll be putting it back on vacation over Thanksgiving and into the weekend.
