Decided to buy a new hot-water heater today instead of silver.
The young gentleman at the plumbing supply place, responding to my inquiry regarding the availability of 1/4 inch copper tubing said:
"I don't mean to insult you m'am but if you like, feel free to help yourself to the thermocouples in the junk pile"

The sweetheart!

I too have been struggling with a headache. On one side of my face ALL day. I'm going to lay down with an ice pack.
BBL
I'm going to try laying down with a bag of ice on the spot.

Any time there is multiple choice and an option for "all the above" I always pick it. It's usually right.

That sucks you all are sick! I never technically get "sick" I just get sinus infections from allergies. I haven't had the flu in 20 years and I have never had a flu shot. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Anybody besides me ever notice that working with copper stops a cold dead in it's tracks?
It might be a coincidence.
Do I qualify for illogical nonsense, Marcus? LOL

hehe ann- if i had a magic pill for nasopharyngeal problems, i wouldn't be home sick. ok seriously, here's what you can do- use a humidifier near your bed, take a decongestant if you can (mucinex won't wire you up too much), saline nasal spray and snort it back as best you can to flush the gunk out of your sinuses, gargle, take a steam bath (put some hot water with mint or eucalyptus in a bowl put a towel over your head and the bowl and breathe the steam), wait and this too shall pass. zyrtec or claritin if it's allergy-based. how's that for starters?

yep ann, sinus problems cause eustachian tube dysfunction in the ears. that equals pressure/pain. the bill's in the mail :)
rachel- i think it would be really great if no one signed up for those stupid ads. that might show them that etsy sellers can see through some of this crap. maybe they could work on something that would benefit the sellers too.

I hope I didn't miss you Sue! Send me the bill!! I just did a sinus rinse with one of those horrible squeeze bottle thingies and I actually feel a little better. I also dug around our medicine cabinet and found....some mucinex!!! Viola!! I threw in some tylenol just for good measure. :) Thanks!! I just never know what the hell to take for this stuff. I really appreciate it!!!

I'll convo you tomorrow about Auntie EM. ;)

Congrats on the amazing sale, Sue!..feel better.
I get my boxes at Neashville wraps...the brown kraft paper ones. Suits my "natural" look.

What? Silver is below $30?! That's my doing for sure. I jumped in and placed an order at $36 last week, thinking I was catching it at a low point. Sigh.

Went to a great antique show this weekend...picked up some nice vintage keys and sterling chains.
And spent all day today creating a free wix site. not sure I love it yet...it needs tweaking. But doing it gave me a huge headache so I am done for now. Once I have it fine tuned, I'll have to decide whether to upgrade and pay for it. I won the domain www.stonz.co and really should use it.

Comment and criticisms welcome...really! I can barely see straight after spending all day on this.

yes, sort of weird that many here don't feel well today.
we had another day last week where alot of us just had shitty things happening to us on the same day. interesting coincidences?

Playing catch up on the thread...
I totally feel like this is true. I have been to WAY too many funerals lately...
trying not to stay in a funk over it.

Oh and aren't sulphites frequently the headache-causing buggers in red wine? I drink it anyway. Love the stuff.

Was just going to say it may be sulphites. I never seem to get headaches (unless alcohol related) but a half glass of red will start one in about 15 minutes. I stay away.

Yes, Susan, it's nice and clean. Are things like wix easier than say Kompozer?

If there was a way to do it as easily as i can arrange Publisher that would be good. I'm just not up to learning all the messy techy stuff.

It's the continual updating that I find tedious.

Thanks. I have no idea.
I am new to this website design stuff. My daughter made a wix site for herself this weekend and she inspired me. I just dove in, picked a template and uploaded stuff. Didn't really do any research. Decided that I'd get overwhelmed and just give up if I spent too much time thinking about it. The way I have it now costs nothing so there was no risk if it came out terrible! :)

It isn't hard to do if you have any experience at all with blogs, etc. I didn't even watch the tutorial videos or read the directions.
