go with the flow I always say- maybe I should go back to y 14g and call them organic- might appeal to a new customer - at the price of silver it would be a nice savings

ROFLMAO--

I just popped in to find the thread...and was reading backwards...so I was reading comments about diameter and rectal rockets. Bwahhh...too funny. Sue...that is hysterical.

The most fun I have at work is when an invoice comes in with rubbers, nipples and bull plugs listed on the front.

I wouldn't normally make them in 16 - these are a special request to be "delicate"

Thanks for the support all!! I know everything is going to be ok...I just keep telling myself that! I will only be sleep deprived for a while. And its weird to actually really enjoy going in to work!! (not that I dislike my job at all - I'm blessed in that regard!)

Hey Jaime!!!!

I made a sterling bangle out of 6g last week, but that is big. I would normally use 12g. 2 1/4" is small 2 1/2" is medium.

The Rectal Rocket is hilarious! I don't think I would laugh about it if I was the patient though. :P

Ok...this is pretty funny.

I had just pulled up Etsy, and Hubby walked in to show me something work related. Anyway...he jumped back at the Halloween images on the Front Page...and couldn't believe that is what was chosen...so that let to a trip to the site that should not be named...but sounds very similiar to this site. Anyway...I have spent the last 20 minutes cracking up with my hubby and friend over some of the things posted.

Now, it makes me want to peruse Etsy to find weird stuff.

hehe, yeah, there's some weird stuff out there.
i had a brief nap. i feel a bit better. it's so hot here our a/c is having trouble keeping up. i think i'll have some carry out tonight, not even thinking about cooking in this heat.
i just finished a gallery order, all inventoried and re-tagged. i have to drop it off at the museum on saturday. tomorrow i have a meeting with my other big gallery to swap work. yeah, she's ready for holiday stuff. grumble, grumble, not that i have any holiday stuff....

I don't get that- what is "holiday stuff" any how? I make jewelry- I rarely make red and green jewelry- sometimes I make blue jewelry but that only covers Hanukkah... I think. I had 2 customers convo me and ask if I had a holiday line coming out soon- I was bewildered how to respond to that question.

My one nod to a 'holiday season' item was a cast snowflake. Not surprisingly it sold best mid-summer to Americans.

I don't get the idea behind a holiday line either. Why make stuff people will only pull out once a year?

Trying to be objective, I can say it does help with the Robaxasil. not completely but most discomfort is gone. Can still feel it of course.

Which leads me to ask how do I know when I can resume laying blocks? It's not like what seems to be most people's back problem, a sudden 'oh my back went out' spasm, but the result of accumulating a couple of days of repetitive overwork. Not sure if that makes a qualitative difference in the kind of damage that needs to heal.

Don't want to make it worse just because it feels OK.

tough question. answer, you don't know. i'd say on average 3 days ought to do it but that's a guess. if you start in and begin to feel it again, oops, it's too soon, stop for another day or 2 and listen to your body. hope my nebulous answers help.
