My first experiment with Aura 22k was not a success. I decided to try kiln firing it first and it just peeled away. Trouble shooting time.

Hi all.

Was supposed to go to a local art show with my sister in law today. We hadn't discussed times, so she called at 10:30, but my stupid alarm did not go off!!! And I did not wake up till almost 11:30. Had to close the restaurant last night and was there late.

By then she had gone without me and made other plans. I do not blame her. But now feel like crap. I think I will not make plans with anyone...for a while

well happy May day to me- just got a 2 star review because my two stone sterling ring with 3 mm stones was too small and not worth the money- how nice that will be at the top of my reviews for a while. Why is it people don't read words like little, delicate and 3mm? And to say something costs too much- why did you buy it then?

Aw Pennee, that sucks! Even the first 3 words of the listing are "Sweet little minimalist".........I don't get why people don't read anything about what they are spending money on...Even in pics you have one on the finger. I'm guessing she did not even contact you. :(

Pennee, so sorry. That's a real bummer. But, as fast as you sell, it won't be up there long.
Beatriz, did you burnish it well while it was still hot? I think that's the key. When I do mine, I torch fire (no kiln, here), then burnish as soon as I take the flame away.

correct Jay, no contact first- and I think some customers who order a custom leave a bad review in hopes you will offer to take it back- not happening. It took me forever to get the 2 tube settings soldered just right so I could close them on the stones without fighting and so they would lay flat on the finger. I fiddled for 2 days with my teacher. Then he cast a bunch of them for me that I still have to re-size for each order. I really don't understand why people think custom should b chap- bet thy can't go to a jewelry store and get a custom ring in 3 days

I think people will read it and say to themselves ,"what's this woman thinking?" And move on knowing your work is great. She will be buried in no time but of course in stings.
