I do find it odd that a teacher gives homework to parents of students but so be it. I would have a very easy time with that one. I would write what my mother told me. I hope you marry your best friend because when the lust settles and kiddos leave home, you'll still have your best friend. worked for me. 44 years and he's still my best friend.

Yup, the best friend thing is definitely key! Dh is my bff for sure. We can and do talk about anything and everything when it's just us. If people heard us they would know for sure we're both crazy as loons! We also laugh a lot. I thing it's so important to have someone who "gets" it and you can laugh together about the darndest things

I almost cried like a child. It really frickin hurts.


Also I finished my paper for D. Focused on the important stuff. It's still too long.

I need to exorcise the health imps hanging around me.

My tooth is still very sensitive and making my life miserable. Then remember how I was complaining about a cough this morning? I ended up running a 39C fever and rushing off to the ER. I just got home, exhausted. And with a whole list of medication and I am supposed to rest as well. No, bench work isn't rest. But at least I have a good excuse from doing the groceries and cooking these next few days.

I think I sound reasonably coherent so I won't push my luck. I am off to take more medication and collapse in bed. Tomorrow, I will take a look at the ER and medication bills and cry a bit.

Still reworking listings, I wish I wasn't in such a hurry when I first opened. I still can't write descriptions, was never good writing. I like working with my hands, wish I could just make things and have someone else manage the shop.

No bench work today, maybe tomorrow.

No bench time for me today. I need to get this semester of teaching finished so I can get back to jewelry.

Dreia - I hate those sleepless nights. Although I find myself wanting I got to climb in bed earlier, I also seem to stay up later just unwinding with my iPad.

Wendy - hope your toe heals fast.

Beatriz - take your recovery seriously. I'm getting my stress test Friday and I think it all started with an upper respiratory thing. I'm anxious to get to the bottom of it but nervous about what it might be.

I have 2 new pieces to list but I don't want to list them both on the same day. Seems when I do that one gets all the attention and the other ignored.
