well hopefully June isn't slower than may for me - I am planning a one day birthday sale like I do every year. Since may was completely filled with customs, it would be nice to just sell some stock.

cg, i don't think your website is embarrassing, and i agree with marcus that the the jewellery page could be made into a catalog.

what i would do is have the catalog visible to all, but require a password to see prices. can't tell you how to do it, but i'm sure someone could.

and i will echo what marcus had said and add that making a website with a template is no more difficult than making a power point presentation, and it is certainly easier than learning the ins and outs of formatting a word document... word is evil.

I just had two cups of coffee but it's not going to be enough.

It's going pretty well with the willow rings. Not everyone has ordered though, and their deadline is end of July. I hope that the rest will order soon and I aim to have them all finished mid July. I get about an order a day from them, and still about 10 that need to place their order and tell me their sizes.

I'm also making some fern rings and they keep being imperfect. Hopefully the next batch will be good enough.. I don't like to keep people waiting.

The photo is not that bad, but I think it would be good to try for a Great photo with such a nice ring. Good luck!

thanks :-). i needed to get some shots for my customer, and i figured i may as well list it. i'll do better today, if i can. i also discovered a slight asymmetry in the ring which i will try to resolve. very hard to find it with the naked it, but it pops out at me in the photos...

so, how is this batch order working? what sort of a group is this?

I noticed no obvious asymmetry but I guess you have to be The Maker to see it.

The group: they graduate together and they say it's a tradition to have a ring made for all of them. I gave them a coupon code for 15% off and I listed about 25 of the rings. They all wanted to have them shipped separately, even though the address seems to be more or less the same, except for the names. So it's a campus I guess.

Interesting article. Sometimes we're so obviously biological creatures. Like how people always will find niches and new sources of income. It's a bit sad that they have to go through all that ick to find some gold. :(

Love the white background Erga. Maybe some more contrast, like in the narrow ring, but the focus looks good! I did like the grey background too.

i'm also torn between the dark and light backgrounds. it looks so different on the two. gah.
