It's north of us. It's beautiful here but I'll bet if I got up on the roof of one of the downtown buildings I could see it. It's close. They are interrupting the hockey game.

CG & Marcus - the wine/solvent exchange was priceless.

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary today....went out for a nice dinner. Have to say, the years have flown by. I am a lucky girl. Found the right guy.

Spent a little time at the beach this afternoon-very few people and lots of good seaglass. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it.

What a bummer, but DAMN Thomas is like a brick wall in that net, they deserved it.

Apparently there are fires everywhere downtown, including ( get this) a huge one in front of the main Canada Post headquarters. I sure hope this doesn't turn into a replay of the 94 riots. That's what happens when you get the first sunshine of the year, paired with people who have been outside in it all day drinking. Idiots.

D isn't home yet. He has promised me he will take the longer route, which hopefully will avoid this ( normally he has to come right through downtown to get home.)

I am worried though, my 19 year old cousin is right in the mix of it ( he posted a picture of the fire in front of CP on facebook) and he needs to get through the thick of it to get to my grandmothers.
