Oh man, Kate. Have your headaches subsided since the vents were cleaned? I have a friend who's carbon monoxide detectors went off and saved them. I don't remember what set it off.

I had my stitches out today and got the ok to do whatever I want. He did say it will be sore for about a month and to massage the scar so it doesn't end up as a lump.

Hi guys, peeking in. I can’t look at the screen to long. Had a nasty weird ocular migraine thing going on all day. And Ayla’s hada super high fever. So.....I’ve been all blah.

I copied a listing (for the second and final payment on a custom) and its showing in my shop manager under active listings but not when I go to view my shop. How long should it take to show up????

That CO scare would be enough for me to run . I always leave a window open, DH and I fight about it, but we had neighbors who had a VERY close call.

I'm glad you got that fixed Kate. Your story makes me think we should have even more CO detectors. We also have a 30+ year old furnace that most likely needs replacing.

Forgot to mention that we were visited by a robin yesterday! It landed in a hawthorn and was eating the berries. Poor thing. It was nice to hear that distinctive robin chirp for the 5 min. it was here.

We're having our temperature swing in one day ... 60 around noon, 40 at 4 pm, then freezing over night. Then cold for the next five days.

Bikini weather Erin! Man; every window in my house would be open if it was that warm here. Today is warm enough to let our woodstove fire die out so we can clean out the ash. It has been burning non-stop for the last few months.

Good Morning! We're having the same temperature swings as Kit...nice this morning, then steadily dropping after 11. I'm meeting the farrier at 11 (finally!)...so I'm hoping he can finish Millie up before it becomes too frigid.

Oh man, Kate...how scary! Glad that was found and fixed! Our home is pretty new (just turned 10), and that makes me want to have everything checked again. We try to have our heating and cooling systems checked regularly.

Debbie...I hope you're feeling better and heal up soon! Glad they were able to take care of the abscess.

Better run...I need to shower and get dressed. I'm not going into the office until after the farrier...DH came home late from work again last night. 2 nights in a row he was out of town and didn't make it in until after 11 p.m. then he's wound up from driving and wants to stay up and talk.

I do have my dining room window open - the cat is in heaven. :D

I picked up a sample Mr. Clean Magic Eraser at Sam's Club the last time we went. Holy cow - I love that thing. It scrubs walls like nobody's business. I will be getting more of those suckers. :D

Erin, they do clean well but the only 'magic' thing about them is the marketing. The pads are melamine foam and you can find cheaper as generics or on ebay. It's original purpose was soundproofing insulation.
