Nice haul Chelsea! I love the little owl on the table- he's cute! Happy beated birthday!!
Finished the diamond pear cut in rose gold- everything looked perfect- then under the scope- a tiny chip out of a kite facet! I know I never touched that stone with a punch or anything on the hammer hand piece- I know it- and I looked at the stone under the scope 20 times before I set it. What to do- besides declare it which I will? I'm a bit ill, it was a cool stone- it has a tiny red dot in it which is so unique- never saw one in a diamond before. It is an included stone but clear enough the dot really shows up. Knock off $50??? Do a Dreia and call it imperfectly beautiful? I just really don't want to trash this ring and no way can it be polished out- not even my teacher who has a bazillion compounds for stone will mess with diamonds
It was built in two phases: first, the west half with kitchen/dining, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a greenhouse. Phase 2 is the east half (including the high roof part) with the living room, loft, painting studio, another 3/4 bath, and a wine cellar. He finished phase 2 about a year ago and is now working on building furniture.
It's about 4000 square feet total, and situated on a 40 acre lot.
Pennee do you like it enough to keep it for yourself ?
CG I had to almost reticulate the patch under the applique and use kanthol wire clamps on that bracelet . Also had to put the solder chips in a bed of fine silver clay paste. So it's essentially partially fused partially soldered.
I have no camera for a few days, my kids are doing some special photography, but will take pics if I get a chance before I give it to Lina.
Fantastic, Matthew. I'm drooling over that awesome kitchen. ----------------- The best part about the kitchen is that it was designed for Mom, who is very tall. So it has high counter tops that she doesn't have to stoop to use.
no comments on my ring dilemma? Sue- you had to have had at least one disaster like this- as many as you make! No Kathy. I need another ring like a hole in my head
I have a bad habit of not wanting to miss out on anything, so when I hear a reference to nice bracelet or nice ring I have to go looking for it.
Not having upper kitchen cabinets, I've never liked having then inches away from my head when working at a counter, and I think they close in the feeling of space a bit.
no CG. I get notices on my phone feed and when you are in IG there is a little red dot on the icon for your feed that lets you know someone liked or commented. That's one thing I'm not crazy about- I have to go look if Jen or Susan posted something I missed if it isn't on my feed. The key is to make sure you always look at your followers stuff and like or comment- or you lose followers fast
If it's a pretty ring I would disclose the flaw and let the buyer decide. I know it's touch on the net but you could do the" if you buy it it will not be refunded no matter what: convo.
