Help with Jewelry Cards, and display please!

I have all of my sizes of jewelry cards (for the shop here in town where I am showing) all worked out, in terms of sizes for earrings, necklaces, etc.

CAN ANYONE please tell me for long necklaces, if I want to display the front of the necklace on the front of the card- the back of the necklace will hang past the card on the opposite side. I have NOT FOUND a great way to keep the back side of the necklace looking neat on the back. i have tried to tie it with raffia, and taping it on the back. Raffia looks a bit messy, and is tricky. Tape of course over time will get your necklace including any beads, chain, etc. all sticky.

help! help!

Thank you and best for a productive day!

j

I can include a pic later... of what I mean or if anyone has a pic of what THEY do for containing the back of a long necklace on your display card, let me know.

I do not do this because I don't make a lot of jewelry that looks good on cards, but I had a quick idea that might work.

Use an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of cardstock to create your own. I divided a it into five sections making five cards. You simply fold the card in half and use a glue dot to hold the long chain. These pics are very quick and dirty and the card is made with regular paper, but you get the idea.

I would be happy to email you the template I used.

Re: Help with Jewelry Cards, and display please!

Thank you for your response Lisa. I am still working on my own cards- I think this is the best option. They are looking great!

I only have a few long necklaces now, but I think for display, I am hanging them from a nail on a box (think old vintage fruit crate) with a very small tag. right now, I think this is the best way.

thanks have a great day.
