YES, I do agree with you. What's happening ? There are still buyers looking for paintings, not being only overwhelmed by crafts. Nothing against crafts. But, I list paintings and some vintage in my shop and I feel also entitled to be "mentioned".
Just sent an e-mail to etsy complaining about fine art (paintings) being squeezed into the "Home and Living" category. Let's see, what they are going to say.
For Linda - why don't you write to etsy giving them your feedback and your feeling about the "hidden away" art category. I did it. More complaints might be helpful.
