What piece did you work the hardest on?

We all work hard, but there is that one piece that you couldn't put down that and had to keep tinkering with. Here's the place to show off that piece of work.

Post the link to the item in your shop and explain how long it took.

Goddess of the Sun, i got really lost in this piece. Took about 20 hours to complete, and I am happy on how she turned out.

Re: What piece did you work the hardest on?

This New Zealand wool wall hanging took a fair while
As I weaved the wool to blend together, then needle felted the wee owl.

cheers Marie

Re: What piece did you work the hardest on?

Without a doubt, it was this one! He was a prototype for a new pattern I wanted to offer and its a material I am not used to working with so it was quite a challenge for me...

Re: What piece did you work the hardest on?

My toughest piece was "Lily." I re-beaded her lily pad 3 times before it looked the way I wanted it to!
She took me 4 months...and lives on my FB page (come visit her!):

This piece took me the longest. I was anxious to start it because I was excited about the vintage materials I had to work with but I didn't have a clear image of the finished piece. I work better when the concept is clear in my head but that's not to say I always stick to my original plan.

Re: What piece did you work the hardest on?

I prefer to work in "series" - basically to allow room to explore the possibilities of a particular form. But with that said: this coffee grinder kept me busy for quite a while. (Guess the effort paid off, because it sold in only three weeks!)

I made them when it was summer, and was very hot.
Were an 'experiment, because I tried to simulate a woodcut, but are made to the computer, making special digital brushes, I made them very slowly because they are hardworking .
Now I think I have been a very good job, I hung them in the living room!!!
