I've been brainstorming ideas for some halloween stuff I could sell. Halloween is my favorite holiday so I am inclined to make something with it :)

Jane-Halloween is easy. Just start making skulls, pumpkins, candy corn, witches, werewolves, etc. It's one of my favorite holidays.

Today, do some promotions and more work on our kitchen cabinets. This remodeling the kitchen is really getting in the way of my work...

Got quite a bit of the kitchen finished. Just need some touch up, another coat of paint on the cabinet doors, and then to re-attach them. Then paint a small part of the wall. Then we can put all of our stuff back in the kitchen and forget about any redecorating for a few years...

Visited the post office this morning to ship out a sale. Work on the commissioned painting. Finish up a still life and start on some other pieces. Don't know what yet. Promotions and maybe touching up a painting for my living room.

I am furiously making bits and pieces for what will probably be my last market until winter/christmas which is on this coming UK Bank Holiday Monday. I love doing markets because I have a small child and it means I get a day off from caring for him (ha) I foist him onto some poor unfortunate soul for the day!!!! Actually I love seeing and speaking to the people who look at, and hopefully buy my stuff.

Anyway, It's been bucketing down here in the UK for days now, so fingers crossed for some decent weather on Monday.

Very interesting hearing what everyone else has been up to.

Well, it's so hot here in Florida. So, I am thinking about "fall", colored leaves, warm (not hot) sun and cooler temperatures. Working on a realistic and then an "abstract" fall painting.
By the way, the "Florida Panther, inspired me on an ice-cold winter day, while living in North Carolina.

Im working on getting 3 more paintings listed in the shop and I need to start a custom notebook that someone just contacted me about.

Things have been so slow for me lately that its been hard to be motivated. Im trying to get back in the swing of thinsgs!

Today is pretty much a painting day. Work on the commission some more, on a couple more animal pieces, and maybe some ACEOs if there's some time between paint drying.

coffee....there isn't enough caffeine in the world for days when I am awake from 4AM :P but I don't seem to need my cane today so far so maybe a walk is in order :D
I need to finish harvesting my lettuce seeds and start planting my indoor/outdoor urban garden for the fall today or I will actually have to-oh horror of horrors-buy lettuce :P
and...oh yeah, need to promote my passion for glow in the dark goodies here :D Happy sales dust everyone <3

I am trying to fine-tune older listings and get more items listed. Also putting together some "lots" of jewelry that did not sell individually, trying to save myself a ton of listing fees by combining.
I have to work today also, I am a cook/kitchen manager at a good sized church and we are having a lunch tomorrow for everyone.

Today is my first day of not watching my niece/nephew for the summer as school started today (which was great fun of course) so back to reality for me! I need to catch up on some things apartment-wise, bill wise, shopping wise, and also promote the shop and create something!

Today-promote, finish a painting for my living room, get approval for a commission that I finished, mow the yard (didn't get to it yesterday), clean the house up a big. And whatever is left is for painting/drawing. But, the kitchen is finally complete. It only took 5 months...
