We are two sisters living and creating in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. Denise is a painter and printmaker who incorporates images from history, myths and legend in her work. Deborah is a fiber artist who uses crochet, sewing and other traditional methods to create non-traditional work.

Both Deb and Denise love vintage arts and crafts. We look for cultural artifacts that work beautifully in eclectic decorating. Many of the items we offer come from our own personal, multi-cultural journeys.

I first learned the art of origami 25 years ago as a way to keep myself busy and to create gifts for friends. I came to love the process of folding paper and it is something that always feels good to do. I fold the cranes because it gives me a sense of peace and people often feel inspired to share their stories of the cranes when they see my work.

Working with paper to create art gave me an appreciation of the beauty and cultural significance of this versatile material. After many years my work naturally evolved beyond origami to include hand made greeting cards, book making, boxes and mono prints. Each piece gives me the opportunity to create something useful while expressing myself artistically.

The simplicity of paper allows for a great deal of innovation when creating art. I combined a variety of paper types and wove pieces of fabric through them to add texture and dimension in my mono print series. My latest artistic direction is to take elements of some of my preexisting work, and sew them together in new combinations. The finished design resembles quilted fabric but is made entirely of paper and thread.

I am a graphic designer, printmaker and poet, In my art, I weave together layers of archetypes, myths, and personal experience into colorful, complex images. The work exhibits cubist strands in the use of simultaneous perspective as well as the flattening and fracturing of the image; surrealist strands similar to Chagall's dreamlike and thematic imagery; and strands from ancient art such as Egyptian and Byzantine iconography. Finally, it combines autobiographical, historical, cultural, and decorative elements into a unified tapestry.

The work in this shop is from my series "House of Cards" in which I recreated the entire deck of cards (with 4 jokers instead of two). All 56 paintings were exhibited in a solo exhibition in 2015. I have listed the remaining paintings in this series, giclee prints, and other items printed with images from the original paintings.

Hi Everyone! I'm Nondus. I have been selling vintage jewelry online since 2008. I now sell exclusively on Etsy and opened my shop in 2009, and I am happy to say it has been very successful. I had a storefront shop named The Cottage Gallery in the Soulard neighborhood in St. Louis, MO selling vintage jewelry and original art back in the 1990s. I also worked for a major investment firm in Human Resources.

I retired in 2008 and live on 10 acres in the Missouri Ozarks with my husband, 4 cats and a german shepard. My interests besides vintage jewelry are jewelry design, painting, writing poetry, and reading ancient history.

I am excited about being a member of this team and hope that we can all benefit from each other's time and effort we put in promoting each other.

Hello , First, I am French Canadian, so if my English is not correct, I apologize.
I'm a versatile artist, mainly in the visual arts. I love creating with different mediums, such as photography, acrylic paint and watercolor, digital illustration, graphic design, photomanipulation, drawing. I also make decorative objects, often with recycled things and I also make knitted accessories. I made creative writing too. ; ) Anyway, I can not imagine my life without creating.
