Hello everyone,

I'm new here and haven't made my first sale yet. Every day I get a lot of messages from freelancers who might be interested in SEO optimization. I think everyone here is getting the same messages. Frankly, the frequency of messages with such content is starting to become disturbing. What I'm wondering is this: Is there anyone who works with an outside freelancer regarding SEO optimization? If so, how useful was it? How did you make sure about its reliability?

Good question. I can't answer you though but have always wondered the same. My shop is open for 1  1/2 years... and I've received so many inquiries about SEO optimization or just optimizing my shop. Many of them claim to be working for ETSY and even have a "company name" with ETSY in it. I wonder who these people are and whether they do have anything in common with ETSY! So yes, great question, I have never worked with any!

I think this is a pretty complex issue. Another issue that has become widespread is this: They are trying to scam people using the Etsy logo. They send messages to the stores' message boxes, saying that you need to write your e-mail address from bot accounts, as if it were a message from the Etsy company.
