Hi there. I just received an email from the owner of a cafe, where my paintings have been hanging, explaining to me that one of my paintings was damaged. Unfortunately, there was no contract or agreement signed beforehand about how this situation would be handled. This has never happened before and I trusted this person to take care of my work.
We are meeting today to talk about how to handle this. Any advice out there? Has this happened to you? What would you do/expect from her?
