Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Hello!

I have an Etsy shop open for a few months now. I get traffic sometimes, but not many sales yet. When I run ads, I get likes and visits but not many orders.

- My Etsy shop here:https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/shop/Bambiy

- My Insta here: https://www.instagram.com/b.a.m.b.i.y/

If you have any ideas, feedback on the listings, or suggestions, I am happy to hear or have a chat!

Thanks!

Happy to be here, and happy new year to you all

@BambiyArtTherapy The best two things you can do right now is this:

1) Just keep making and adding items to your shop.  More items = more traffic = more sales

2) Participate in the social media games on the ART Team.  It's a great way to let people know about your items.  Bring in new customers.  And make new fans.

HAPPY 2021!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Hi all! This group has been so amazing. Everyone is so supportive! I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for SEO software or websites either free or paid? Also anyone here use Etsy Ads? I'm using them now purely to drive traffic to my shop and get orders and feedback in because I have changed what my shop sells recently. Any tips for better using Etsy ads and/or trying to get off reliance on them? https://www.etsy.com/shop/emikoshop?ref=seller-platform-mcnav

thank you all!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Hello,

my shop is open for almost 2 months and I haven’t sold anything.

I know my listing is not a lot. But I am working on it.

What do you think about my shop? What can I do or change for more activity?

thanks

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Your shop looks beautiful.  I would suggest two things for you right now:

1) Just keep making and adding new pieces to your shop.  More pieces = more traffic = more sales

2) Participate in the Facebook/Instagram games on this team.  It's a great way to meet other shopkeepers and find new customers.

HAPPY SALES!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

I would be so grateful if someone could explain how to post a picture with my links. I have tried so many times, but always get some kind of error message. I am working off of a laptop (not a mac), if that makes any difference. Before Etsy changed, I used to be able to post pictures. THANK YOU!!!!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

@overthefenceart Etsy is still working on the upgrade and adding features to Teams.  So, some things work one day.  And others don't the next.  I'm sure it will return again soon whenever they figure out whatever glitch they are working on.  THANKS!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

@vodawotah Martin, your shop looks like it's off to a good start.  But, it sounds like you're having difficulty getting enough traffic.  Right?

Here are some suggestions:

1) Just keep making and adding new pieces to your shop.  More pieces = more traffic = more sales

2) Participate in the Facebook/Instagram games on this team.  It's a great way to meet other shopkeepers and find new customers.

If you're having other issues, please let us know and we'll try to help.

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

@TerciaBags

Oi! Sua loja está linda. Está bem configurado. As fotos parecem ótimas.

OBRIGADA!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Try linking some of your keywords together as tags, and make sure your tags have all the same keywords in your title (hope that makes sense!) What helps me is to have a notebook where I write down different combinations of words that pertain to my items. It helps to look at other people's listings of similar items to get ideas. Then once you have a bunch of descriptive words, just try combining them in differentways to get unique tags. It's really important that the phrases you use in your title, match up with the tags you use.

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Oh also, for titles: The first 4 words are most important, so try to title your listings with the mos relevant words first... Then you can use more vague and generalized adjectives and whatnot after that. You can separate the words/phrases with commas, dashes, or hyphens to make it less confusing also.

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

Hey @HayHaileySlimez You're off to a great start

Your template appears to usually be:

(Title) (Product)

Which is pretty similar to the format I've found to work best for me

(Title) ((product)) (size) by Mike Kraus - (use tags)

So, you may want to try something like this:

"Glossy Watermelon Scented Slime with Black Glitter by HayHaileySlimez - 2-4 oz - asmr adhd autism fidget sensory toys kids smell children fun"

THANKS AGAIN!

Re: Let's Help Each Other!

So by tags are you meaning the same keywords I have? I’m not great with SEO.
