Yes I would retake the pictures and show an example of a print if you can but your art itself is really cool!

Re: Kind of frustrating!

good morning Patrick

there are ways you can make you picture looking better, that's actually what I do on my shop, but you can also do it own you own, creative market is a great place to buy mockup, you can find some really cheap one for like 2 dollars, also here on etsy, so you can display you picture better, you probably need better angles  but mockups will make you picture look so much better. hope this help!

I had a really difficult time too. I put a nail on a plain painted wall & take them in natural light- I learned not to seal a painting until after pics- because I got a glare. Then I sharpen the details w my smart phone.

Re: Kind of frustrating!

I completely understand you're frustration Patrick. I too am unsure about my photos.. I don't think your lack of sales is so much the quality of photo but the quantity and live pics, for example, Hands holding an art print or a smiling lady holding a coffee mug.

I believe the most important step to making sales is by continuing to make listings. More items = more traffic = more sales. Once you have 150 items in your shop, Etsy will give you a promotions boost. Once you have 250-300 items, you'll get another boost. Also, 80% of sales happen in the Christmas season (October - December.) So prepare for them as soon as possible.

Maybe you can try to sell to friends and family at first and make sure to get follows, reviews, likes and Favorites on your items and shop because it will boost a potential buyers confidence in your shop.

For example, if you don't mind giving my shop a visit and clicking on Favorite shop, I will Favorite your shop back! www.etsy.com/shop/StevenTheArt

Hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck this year!
