Its a good question because I haven't been asking for a deposit. Often its been images that I could actually put on my shop to sell again, if they didn't mind. Where it was a personal image, I've been lucky and had good people who honored the payments, and I made a listing for their work. On occassion I have emailed them their work, but everyone has paid without issues.
