Hi, I'm new here too, working on re-branding my shop and starting new here on etsy. I just spent some time looking at shops and there is an amazingly eclectic group of artists here. Thanks for inviting me to play!
There seem to be a lot of us newbies here; so glad I am not the only one that is happy to be invited but not sure how the whole team thing works. I second Lee Smith's comment - I'm not sure how the team found me but I'm glad they did! So does anyone have any tips on how best to participate in and contribute to the team?
Although I paint, and studied art in college, I haven't had time to paint in a while. I hope to get back to it when I finish the move I'm in the middle of (buying a house is such a long and complicated process these days!), but for now I started my etsy shop 2 months ago to try to sell some of the jewelry I make. I finally got my first sale a few days ago - Hurray! I figured if I can learn how to sell jewelry on etsy, since jewelry takes less time, less concentration, and less space than oil painting, then when I am able to paint again I might be able to expand my shop and post the paintings there too.
