Editor’s Picks

Jump to solution

Today I was sent a message from Editor’s Picks titled “Something for You to see”. It was a large collection of Lino and wood cut prints. It looked like every print sold on Etsy. However, though this was sent to me, my woodcut prints that I sell at Etsy were not included.  So why was I sent this?
Was this to make me feel bad or a subtle message that I was not an Editor’s  Pick.

You are opted in to receiving emails from Etsy.

Some of these are promotional emails.

They base the "picks" on things you have searched for in the past.

It's not a dig or personal.  If you don't want to receive the emails, opt out.

I need as much exposure as possible because I have not sold any art.  I have had visits and been favored, but no sales. So, when I see what appears to be a large spotlight on printmakers, I am disappointed that my prints were not included in this opportunity.  I don’t know what objectives I have researched that explains why my work wasn’t displayed.  It is a compliment to be “favored “ and visited but still no sales.
