Today I was sent a message from Editor’s Picks titled “Something for You to see”. It was a large collection of Lino and wood cut prints. It looked like every print sold on Etsy. However, though this was sent to me, my woodcut prints that I sell at Etsy were not included. So why was I sent this? Was this to make me feel bad or a subtle message that I was not an Editor’s Pick.
I need as much exposure as possible because I have not sold any art. I have had visits and been favored, but no sales. So, when I see what appears to be a large spotlight on printmakers, I am disappointed that my prints were not included in this opportunity. I don’t know what objectives I have researched that explains why my work wasn’t displayed. It is a compliment to be “favored “ and visited but still no sales.
