Hi all, there has been a lot of frustration expressed over increasing spamming and folks not following the rules.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done because no one at all has any kind of admin or mod powers at this point. It doesn't seem like Etsy has been responsive in helping Mike be able to come back, and the only other listed team mod is not active on Etsy.

It seems like it may be time to create a new Team.

Thoughts are appreciated. Please post them below. The conversation earlier this week was very helpful and we hope to have another equally productive convo about this difficult topic. Many thanks.

I don't know why Mike is 'banned' from the teams, I never heard of people being banned from just the teams and nothing else. But if his case is hopeless, then a new team with actual mods would be better, and maybe try to keep out those who have not been following the rules for months, not just the last few weeks.

I completely agree with what was said before me. Also, I think in the new team, the team captain can give Mike whatever rights he wants. That way, maybe Mike could come back with us, right?

The whole thing with Mike is ridiculous! And, well people being people and not doing what they should on threads is too! Maybe a new team would be wise... and true.. maybe Mike could come back! fingers crossed with whatever happens!

I contacted Mike both here and on Facebook to see how I could help, but I haven't received a response. If Etsy has imposed this ban, I thought we could start a campaign by collectively messaging the Etsy team as a group of sellers to get Mike reinstated. However, I haven't received any response.If Mike cannot come, or if it will take too long, I am in favor of forming a new group. The number of people not following the rules is increasing, and we should consider that bigger problems might arise in the future. I would appreciate it if you could handle this on our behalf.Thank you.(English is not my first language, so please excuse any mistakes in my expression.)

I am all for a new group. I would love to have Mike back, but until (or if) that happens it maybe best to start a new group with team members who will participate. I am so thankful for this group and appreciate it so much, but it takes a lot of time for everyone to do this everyday and it is stressful when we have to continue to skip over people for not playing by the rules. I will help out in any way that I can, being an admin cannot be an easy job.

Piggybacking everyone else here, new group that's moderated and when we can, we pass it all back over to Mike, or move back to the Art team, perhaps with someone as a backup mod. Have a great weekend guys and gals.
