Big problem

I added a line of code sometime back to all my items in my shop. After the line of data your program added 4 blank lines. I used your delete blank lines trying to get rid of them, I tried 3 and 2 blank line deletes. It didn't work and I didn't notice that what your program did was delete all my blank lines further down in my description.
I have now 1 large paragraph. Do you have a restore program. I have to get this fixed immediately.

Hi Bruce,

I'm sorry this has happened. I know the frustration it can cause.
IF you saved the database as a new name before you applied the changes you should be able to restore from a saved database. The data is also there if you have not re-synced your shop. It is the name of your shop then _auto.zet Without the saved database there is no method to go back.

Depending upon the description pattern you may be able to reinsert blank lines with either the replace or replace Like commands.

If you send send me the text change you were trying to do I can at least try to figure out what happened.

Chris I was able to recover all 500+ members because Etsy on Sale was still running, when I stopped it they replaced all my items with the old descriptions, thank god.

The first problem is why were blank lines created when I created a first line on all my items with your software. Obviously your software now doesn't recognize those lines because they would have been deleted like the others.

I tried again to delete 3 blank lines and it said they were deleted but the lines were still there, I reset the change. This is the message I got:
Replace Text Change of {} (EVERYTHING inside brackets) Ready to Upload: 570.

This is what I still see after the review, as you can see the blank lines still exist.

Hi Bruce,

I will look into this. I know it has to do with the hidden line feed codes but something is different where is does not recognize it. I'm glad the EtsyOnSale worked.

I am going to look into creating an automatic secondary backup of the database that is a few days old such that a recovery would be possible without the user doing it..

Hi, I'm still waiting to get rid of my 3 blank lines. I tried again and it doesn't work, if I use the 2 blank line delete, it deletes all my blank lines.
