Discussion on Packing Supplies, and how do you pack??

Many sellers do not know that ALL Priority supplies from boxes to the Priority Tyvek bags, labels, tape, etc...are FREE for the taking at their local PO, and online. You simply go to the USPS website, sign in, and order all the Priority supplies you need. It comes to your front door at zero charge. How easy is that!

I buy tissue paper from a seller on ebay who is cheaper than the dollar store. I save all of my "free" plastic bags from the grocery stores, target, walmart, etc...and use those for packing, then use tissue paper, and my Priority waterproof tyvek bags or boxes. I have had compliments galore over the years on great packing.

Let us know your great packing advice as well.

I ship from Canada so all items within Canada have a tracking number by default -- that is standard parcel service -- but items to the US go out via international surface mail for the most affordable default with the option to upgrade, if desired. That said, more precious and/or heavy items (dresses over $80 and/or heavy leather jackets) go by expedited service to

Most items are packed in waterproof bags to keep parcels light and thus the lowest price possible. More precious and heavy items ship in boxes =-)

I originally used reused tissue from gifts and/or purchases I received, but have since switched to white only for fear that the colour will run onto the clothing item. I have purchased my shipping bags via ebay in the past, but I think I'll now order them through Uline.ca, which is where I get padded envelopes, boxes and packing tape for my other store =-)

Great Post., I to use everything I can within my means to save money on supplies, like you Vanessa, I to go to the USPS store, seeing I ship 90 percent of my items Priority, I have to make it afforadable. I use the FREE Priority boxes alot, reuse Bubble wrap I get in boxes I have delivered to me that I have bought (items from others)., I save all my newspapers to wrap or stuff in the boxes as fillers. And a tip.....I go to my local hardware store an by huge and I mean huge bags of peanuts, cheap!!!, check your local hardware store, see what they offer and lastly, I go to my local grocer and dollar store to obtain FREE boxes they are just gonna throw out, Just tips!!!
