new to Wordpress

I'm new to Wordpress. I was able to make a blog, attach it to my regular website and all is fine. But how do people "follow" me on the blog? I see no "follow me" button and I've searched and can't figure it out! Can someone help me? I feel stupid; I'm really good with computers, etc but I can't figure this one out! Thanks.

I've noticed in the last week or so, there is now a "follow" button at the top of the screen.

Good Morning DaisyDog,

I have visited your site but was unable to find your follow button or follow by email ... check under your appearance section for widgets and you should be able to add something under the archives section of your site.

I checked and there us nothing. I just found out that there are no "follow" buttons if using a wordpress, ORG blog, only wordpress.COM. Totally ridiculous. Guess i'll need to switch blogging sites. Thanks for your help!

Are you trying to add rss icons so people can follow you? Are you using a self-hosted wordpress site? There are tons of plugins that allow for this. Pretty much any thing can be done using the self-hosted version of wordpress.
