How to add an etsy mini to wordpress.com

Hi, I'm new to the team and also to wordpress.com and blogging.

I'm in the process of getting my blog setup and would really love a little collection of my recent items in the sidebar. I realize that I cannot use etsy mini on wordpress.com, and I've looked at previous threads but they are older and the links go to pages that no longer generate the code properly.

I've heard of people making a treasury of their items, then doing a screenshot and putting that in an image widget. I'd be up for that, but not sure how to link each item photo on my blog to it's respective listing on etsy.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Have you tried this tutorial? It even has an HTML script which you can copy and paste on your blog :)

I did try it, but my photos ended up squooshed and warped.

I was reading in the comments and it looks like there's something wrong with the placement of the quotation marks in the code. So, I'm back to being open to suggestions.

I would just do a screen shot of a treasury of my items, but I'd really love it if each photo linked to that specific item in my shop, rather than the whole thing just linking to the first page of my shop.

Basically I've made a screen shot of Etsy Miny, placed it in my post and changed Attachment display settings - instead of Media file placed the URL to my shop.

That's it! No tutorial is needed :)
