Coming from a blogging hiatus!!

Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to say hello as I join this wonderful group! I am so looking forward to perusing through all these wonderful blogs I am reading about in this discussion!!

My name is Stacy and I hail from a small town in Ontario, Canada! My husband and I are getting ready to welcome our first child in March! After our DIY wedding in October 2011, I changed my "card shop" over to a "paper flower shop" and have never looked back! Its been such an amazing experience!

I am starting to get back into the blogging world and would love for you to take a look at mine and let me know what you think!!

Re: Coming from a blogging hiatus!!

Just checked out your blog. Very professional! I liked your video as well. It's nice to focus on what you're actually doing.

I also checked out your shop. I'm curious how you actually pack your large delicate items. I used to do jewelry, but I'd like to make things like fascinators and perhaps bags, but haven't decided yet. I'm finding that Canada Post affects what I sell, so any advice would be great.

Congratulations on your first child too! How exciting!

Here's my latest post as I'm still figuring out my Etsy shop. Maybe something you can use in the future?

Re: Coming from a blogging hiatus!!

Hi Stacy!

I have to say - i love your site, and your baking video! I just finished an evening of baking (cranberry banana bread - yum!), so it was fun to see from the cinematic side. =)

I just wanted to say 'Hi' and introduce myself since i'm new to this team too! i'm from Buffalo, NY and have a wine charm shop on etsy. My now-husband and I closed on a house in July 2012, gutted the kitchen immediately, got married in August 2012, and are JUST NOW starting to feel a bit more settled in our new home... oh, and furnish it. haha (whew!)
As part of my wedding, I made 1200+ wine charms for our guests, which is the inspiration for starting my shop.

I've recently tried to organize "Charmed By Wine" by connecting my website, blog and shop together. I changed from an old blog to my new name, and have also now switched from blogger to wordpress! I tend to blog about a variety of things including home improvement and decor tips and tricks, organizational inspiration, recipes, fun/random things, the occasional lolcat.....just about anything! i'm hoping to recap our kitchen renovation soon, too.

so many adventures to come. happy to be a part of the group here! =)
