Thank you for having us I am Dracon Samael and in general I am the spokesperson and shopkeeper for our little group of 17 people as well as one of the artisans of the shop. At the Forbidden Apothecary we are a group of elders from various non mainstream traditions who have made it our mission to share the magic that we know and create quality tools, relics, and supplies for for others who walk the paths of wonders.

Merry Meet!
I have a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology and an MA in the Humanities and have recently retired to spend more time with my family and my path.
As a devout pagan and hedge witch, much of my time is spent in the garden, when the weather allows.(See my "About" page.) I've spent over 50 years learning the horticultural art of gathering and saving everything to use as herbal remedies, for spell castings, or as simple offerings in my sacred garden space. Items in my shop are in some way; a reflection of my personal path, an inspiration from my garden, or a product reflecting the sacred earth. Over the next few months I will be adding some of these products to my shop so that you too can enjoy them as well.

Hi there.

Call me Loona Wynd. I have been practicing witchcraft for 16/17 years. For the last 10 years I have been developing for my own personal use incenses to be used in ritual and magical work. A year and a half ago I decided to sell my incenses and other blends.

I'm currently studying the Feri tradition of witchcraft. I have also studied a little bit of the Temple tradition of witchcraft. I believe that there is something true in basically all traditions and styles of witchcraft and magic so I strive to study them all as much as I possibly can.

I am not Wiccan. I do not practice Wicca. My ethics are more along the lines of Heathenry and Hoodoo where I believe magic to be a tool that can be used to help in any and all situations that it is used in. In this case I also believe that hexes and curses have a purpose in protection and defensive magic.

My current studies in magic aside from the Feri witchcraft tradition are a mixture of Hoodoo studies and Quabblah. I'm hoping to start working with a lot of saints and angels as part of my Hoodoo studies. The Quablah is related to my studies in the Feri tradition as my teacher uses the Quablah as a tool for understanding the cosmos and the divine within.

My store has a little bit of everything. My main focus is on incenses, herbs, powders and tinctures. Though I am looking at learning soap making, candle making, and on developing herbal bath and body products. For me the more crafts I learn and develop the better my skills as a witch and my practice as witch will develop.

I came here to meet other witches, learn from other witches, and grow my store. Even if we all craft the same sort of things I believe that we can learn from each others products and services.

Good day all,
I am also fairly new to Etsy and since it is not my primary business my shop is taking shape slowly.

I realized within the past year that I have been a witch all my life, ... that has made a lot of things simpler, and made sense of many more. However, I still have much to discover and learn. As of yet I have no specific tradition, and would like to find a teacher and some local witches.

I have always crafted and created. I am listing some of my more artistic creations in my Etsy shop. Some of my other crafts are soap and bath products and I sell them as a line exclusive to a local farm. We have recently begun a blog which is an interesting experience.
