What tool do you use most?

My alll time favorite brand,Swanstrom. I love how the smooth black metal is so gentle on the wire...But I do have a favorite of all,and that is my wonderful pair of Swanstrom Micro Flat-Nose Pliers . Oh, they are perfect. I happen to have small hands,so small pliers are a treat.These babies are only 4.5 inches long and fit in my hand perfect. They are great for making wraps and little decorative "tweeks" on rings and pendants. Another perk,they are only 3mm across on the nose,so they double great as prong pliers.2mm prongs work for most stones,but those big uns' need a nice 3mm prong.I just ordered the Swanstrom Micro Chain-Nose Pliers,can't wait to play with them too!
I use these more than any other tool. I know we artists all have a "magic tool". What is yours?

I love my flat-nose pliers and my ballpeen hammer. The hammer has one flat end and one round end for textured effects. And the end of the handle doubles as a wire-wrapping form!

I definitely use my mandrels for a lot of stuff. I have a couple graduated size ones that are just great for making jump rings and bails and I love making rings on my big ring one. Other than that though, I use my flat nosed pliers a lot and my mini round nosed pliers for making wrapped loops. My finger nails are so poor that I can't use them in jewellery making unless I have them manicured then I use them all the time.

I got a pair of swanstrom micro chain nose pliers too,I must say they are pretty magical =) <3

My favorite tools are also my fingers and fingernails. I use them for twisting, tucking.

My next favorite are my Tronex wire cutters, chain nose pliers and round nose pliers.

I just found a pair of these pliers,woohoo,got them in the mail today...not easy to find. these are great for those of you who make wire bracelets and cuffs,use them to give a slight even bend on the ends of bracelets and also great for mashing down those wires on the end off cuffs.
I also bought this steel ring mandrel,it is very nice,this is a great price for it!
