Is anyone having any success with the Search Ads? I ran them when they first started with no luck at all. After the showcase stopped I began running them again and again with no success at all. Many impressions very few views and no sales. Had much more success with doing showcase's.
I have tried search adds twice...did not increase my traffic at all. I have noticed when doing my own shopping that search adds pop up that have nothing to do with what I am searching for,they are not very organized. Haven't tried showcase...
When search ads first came out I tried them in two of my shops with no success. I started using them again last month in one of my other shops and sales doubled. This time I was more careful about the keywords I chose and it seems to be more effective.
On the ad stats it's not showing that I'm getting sales from the ads (it's showing 4 orders total) but I think it only counts the sale if the person buys the one they click on before going to anything else in your shop. Not sure about that though. I would love to find a way to be sure the sale increase is because of the ads or just a coincidence.
I'm considering trying them again for this account. I'm just not sure it would be as effective for items in the price point range in this shop (the other shop is mostly $20 or under).
