Saturday, my husband had a heart attack.  He is still in CCU.  I packaged my orders and made it to the post office this afternoon.  I can do a lot of things on Etsy from my phone while sitting in the hospital with my husband.  His diagnosis is complicated because his heart anatomy is complicated.  He has had open heart surgery, bypasses, stents and balloons.  All of those things are totally clogged and out of order.  The small part of his heart that was functioning was severely damaged Saturday.  They are offering us a Clinical Trial solution, which sounds both exciting and scary, but it is the only option at this point.  My Etsy shop gives me sanity and sewing, and growing herbs is therapeutic for me, so my shop is staying open.  It is good to have things to take one's mind off stressful events.  We aren't sure when he is coming home, but I am cleaning house, making the kitchen heart healthy, etc for when he does come home.  Please pray for him...he wants to stay with us.  He said he is ready to see Jesus but doesn't want to go yet.  Please pray for him.  Thank you.

Hello Cindy and everyone.  Had a fun day today.  Found out from one of my customers in another state that there is a fabric shop 7 miles from my house so of course I had to go check it out.  Got myself in SOOOOOO much trouble.  They have every cotton fabric you could want practically.  So now I have to get busy sewing.  Excited about some of the new items I am going to be making.  

Denise prayers for you and your husband.  Glad you have sewing and your herbs to help keep your mind busy.  Having an Etsy shop helps with that.  I know when my husband was in the hospital, I did a lot of sewing to keep my mind busy.
