Consignment Contract Document

A store has agreed to sell my jewelry on consignment. I'd like to draw up an agreement. Anyone have a good one they found online?

Normally they are the ones with the agreement-- did you talk to them and see what they generally do?

Yes, they should provide the agreement, we do for all our consignors in our store front.

I'm their first consignment vendor so they don't have anything. I'm going to draw something up myself so there is something in place. If something happens to my jewelry at the store, like it gets stolen or damaged, would they be responsible?

it all depends on the shop. some shops say they're not responsible for theft or broken products. and some shops will pay for it wholesale (50% of the product), so, it really just depends on what the shop is willing to risk.

Yes- the shop is the one with the rules.. everyone is different. it is good to have it all sorted out before hand tho!
