Why color is so important?

What color do you prefer? Which is the favorite one, what color do you avoid in painting? (with examples)

I like to work with complementary colors because they really pop!

Color is living, it's real, it's vivid and evokes emotions. Though I do appreciate a good black and white when I see them, but color is more memorable. I go through phases of what I like to work with best, sometimes it's blues or turquoise, sometimes it's crimson red or even hot pink. Just depends on my mood as I watch the paint spread across the page or canvas from my brush.

Hey, I'm new to the team! Most of my paintings just end up being bright and colorful! I guess I just like colors. My husband talks about how my paintings are colorful. I'm partial to blue, purple, black, and hot pink. I also like painting rainbow themed paintings. Peace!

I think color is important. As I think colour have no boundaries. Color is wide. Color can make people happy, sad, angry and more. For me, all color is my favourite.

I usually work in all warm, all cold, or contrasting. I want to venture in to other schemes, but then sometimes I feel too much can throw off the vibe of what I'm making.
