As much as I appreciate digital photography, film is where my passion lies. I have about 60 film cameras (I really should count), about 8 of them Polaroids, and about 3/4 of the photos I sell in my shop are film. I got very lucky when a local benevolent soul basically gave me around 50 packs of beautifully expired 669 film. The gods were smiling that day:)
I am such an analogue lady - hooked after I did a short darkroom course 10 years ago. I have lots of Lomo cameras (and won Cut Copy Create competition - thanks, I get lots of bag admirers now!), and now a Polaroid, as well as my film SLR. Recently bought a digital SLR and we are not getting on - my photos are rubbish.
Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who's joined, it's fantastic to see everyone in the one place and lovely to browse through all of your shops and portfolios.
Just wanted to say hi! Love vintage cameras and Polaroids specifically. I just listed a Barbie cam if anyone here is interested. Myself, I'm always looking for unique camera cases.
Hello everyone! I just joined and I am only mildly obsessed with cameras ;) I have several film cameras and couple digital ones, as well as two video cameras (although they really don't count here). I am hoping to get my hands on a holga real soon.
I look forward to discussing camera related stuffs on here.
I'm into all kinds of photography, but the money comes from my wedding business. I am the Husband part of a husband and wife photography team and we've been full time with that for about 6 years. We started the Etsy shop mostly to help promote the store.
Thanks again for the invite. I'll definitely stop in here from time to time.
Hello, everyone! Thanks for the invite! I look forward to some informative and interesting (and silly? where's the wine?) discussions.
Me? I work primarily as an editorial photographer -- both original photography and through licensing. I also do events for some of my corporate clients. Then when I'm lucky, I get a rare "fog day," and those photos end up here. :)
I love playing around with photography but find myself all tied up with my two kids. In a sense I have come full circle (and then some!) with returning to film after my chunky dslr with my lil golden half.
I love playing with it and seeing what surprises I get when I develop the film!
