Do you know what is in your Fabric Sheets?

Most recently I have turned my focus to Fabric Softeners and I was shocked to learn about Cationic type agents which are chemicals applied to the dryer softener sheets as well as liquid softener. According to what I have found Cationic agent treated fabric can burn up to 7 times faster than the fabric not treated so basically if you purchase PJ's for children that are flame retardant and then put them in the dryer with a fabric sheet a hazardous fabric is the by-product. This must be fact because the box warning states not to use the sheets on children's clothing. (Believe me I'm getting better at reading what's on the box :)
Bolder still on the fabric sheet box is the statement that the sheets are made from 100 percent recycled paper. One would get the idea at a glance that this is an environmentally safe product. Of course, I began to wonder what happens at the landfills with tons of used chemically treated dryer sheets.

There is an alternative for consideration that I have come up with which is the Pure and Natural ~ Lavender Sachet Dryer Packs
ECO FRIENDLY - ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE
