Question about Invitation Packaging and Shipping?

Can I ask a question of my fellow invitation makers about how you package your large invitation orders? In the past, I have just wrapped stacks of invitations and RSVP cards, etc. in tissue and shipped in a box with packing peanuts (hello - expensive!!). I would like to get some boxes to put the items in and then package in a larger box for shipping, but ULINE doesn't seem to carry the right size boxes I need.

Any suggestions? How do you package your orders for shipping??
If this isn't the right place for this question, I apologize! Just trying to get some ideas.

Re: Question about Invitation Packaging and Shipping?

Hi Dawn
I'm an enthusiastic recycler, so:
Big orders I wrap in tissue, sealed with my logo label.
Then blank newspaper (in th UK we can get the latter from house moving/removal companies).
Then in some form of plastic bag - recycled for preference. I add a delivery label.
Then re-used bubblewrap or new bio-degradable/eco bubblewrap, or crumpled newspaper or junk mail.
All inside a cardboard box which can be a recycled one from a local store or supermarket or if all else fails I buy a new box from the Post Office, stationers or removal company.
Elaborate? Yes, but the items arrive safely 99.9% of the time and that's what it's all about for me.
Hope that helps.
