Inspiring Boudoir Doll Books or Movies

Does anyone have a particular book or movie they refer to when needing inspiration for their work or just to enjoy thier boudoir?

"The Technique of the Love Affair" by a GentleWoman (Doris Langley Moore) is my guilty pleasure! I purchased my copy for $3 online and it is fabulous. Written in 1928, her words are the personification of what I think boudoir dolls would be like if we could meet them in person.
"Then you admit what I have often heard you deny - you admit the excuse for our guile, for it is natural that we should aquaint ourselves will all the means of getting what we cannot do without."

Thanks, that is a really informative site!
I was thinking about whether or not to make a new outfit for my vintage doll and give her new hair, so now I can get some tips.

That is aernath's site! I'm proud to say she is part of our team. I've been really happy with everything I've purchased from her. Her site and Frau Wolfe's on rubylane.com really sparked my interest in Boudoir Dolls! :)

Yup, my two go to sites as well. Both really wonderful people, who've been very generous with their knowledge and their fabulous photos.

Hi, ladies,
I created one of my favourite fictional characters.
That's my first atempt of making a doll.
What do you think?
